Delivery Details

Local Chicagoland Delivery (via a real, live JuiceRX Cleanse delivery driver)

If you live in our “local” Chicago delivery zone (typically the area delineated by as far south as South Loop up to Wrigleyville, and as far West as Logan Square, the designated delivery window is Mon-Fri between 6:30am and 9am.  We typically deliver locally each Tuesday and Friday morning (and sometimes more often, just check the calendar at checkout!), unless there’s a holiday.  The cutoff for ordering is 3pm the day before delivery day.

If you live in a building with a doorperson, our delivery driver will leave your order with him/her and request that you be called.  If you live in a house or a building without a doorperson, we recommend someone be available to accept the delivery.  Although, it’s not uncommon for us to leave juices at customers’ doors. Feel free to leave a cooler out and we’ll take care of the rest!

If no one is available to accept delivery:  The driver will leave in a place that a) you specify in the notes at checkout OR b) at your door or another place at the discretion of the delivery driver.  In either case, you assume FULL responsibility for an unattended delivery.  You agree to allow JuiceRx delivery drivers to use their discretion as to where to best leave the juices (ie. in a cooler, on the porch, outside an apartment building, etc.).   As a courtesy, we will immediately attempt to notify you of the delivery at the phone number and/or email address specified in the order (and we’ll mention where delivery was left, if no special delivery instructions were provided in the order).

Please note that JuiceRx is NOT responsible for lost or stolen product once it has been delivered (this includes a mistyped delivery address as we deliver to the EXACT address you provide at checkout). JuiceRx is also NOT responsible for spoiled product as a result of improper handling or neglect (including an unclaimed or forgotten delivery). While we make every effort to contact you if we don’t personally deliver to you or a doorperson (first via phone and/or then via email), it is YOUR responsibility to claim the delivery once it is made. NO refunds will be offered under any circumstances for any of the aforementioned reasons.

Please note that your order is not delivered in a cooler nor do they include ice packs (but feel free to leave a cooler out, and we’ll be sure to place inside).  Rather, raw juices/smoothies are delivered pre-chilled but need to be refrigerated to stay that way.  Please note that product left outside and exposed to heat or direct sunlight may accelerate spoilage (particularly on warm/hot summer days).  In the winter months (particularly when outside temperatures are below 41 degrees F), deliveries should retain their freshness outside since we’re talkin’ refrigeration temperatures.  As long as your juices remain properly chilled, they are guaranteed to maintain their freshness (5 days for juices starting the day after delivery).

Shipping Via UPS

If you live outside the Chicagoland area, we deliver each Tuesday and Friday (unless there’s a national holiday).   The cutoff for ordering is 3pm the day before delivery day.  So, cutoff for a Tuesday delivery is Monday at 3pm.  Cutoff for Friday delivery is Thursday at 3pm.

We ship via UPS Priority Overnight shipping (next day air), which has an estimated arrival time by 10:30am. This applies to most addresses (~99%) as long as it’s not deemed a rural address by UPS (like in a remote part of the mountains) OR if there is a weather related delay.  In these cases, depending on your location, some orders may arrive at noon or as late as 4:30pm. To be sure, shipping is outside JuiceRx’s control and we are unable to guarantee a specific arrival time.  You can expect an email from UPS the night before your scheduled delivery date with a tracking number that will assist you in tracking your delivery.

As we guarantee the freshness of our fresh-pressed juices for 5 full days, we recommend that you bear that in mind, especially if you’re starting a cleanse.  In most cases, it’s best to start your cleanse the day it is delivered.

As our raw juices are prepared fresh and must remain chilled, we pack them in insulated liners with ice packs and rush ship via UPS overnight to ensure they stay cold for up to 24 hours after we ship. This means our juices are expected to remain chilled up to 4:30pm on your delivery day, but we strongly encourage you to place in the fridge immediately upon receipt to keep them fresh.

Please note that JuiceRx is NOT responsible for lost or stolen product once it has been delivered (this includes a mistyped delivery address as we deliver to the EXACT address you provide at checkout, verifiable on UPS.com with the tracking number you are provided). JuiceRx is also NOT responsible for spoiled product as a result of improper handling or neglect (including an unclaimed delivery). It is YOUR responsibility to claim the delivery once it is made.  If you miss a delivery attempt by UPS, it is your responsibility to arrange same-day pickup with UPS.  NO refunds will be offered under any circumstances for any of the aforementioned reasons OR for refusing delivery.   

Please also note, if UPS attempts delivery and is unsuccessful, it is your responsibility to arrange for pickup (the same day delivery was attempted).  The juices are packed with sufficient ice packs to guarantee that they remain chill for at least 24 hours from shipment.  Juices that are delivered 2 days after shipment (ie. Wednesday morning arrival from a Monday evening shipment) are usually fine as well.  All sales are final.

What if my delivery is late?
Due to weather conditions or other UPS delays, your package may arrive after the estimated time. Don’t worry – your juices are packaged to stay cold and will remain fresh. Snack on a piece of fruit and sip on plenty of herbal tea and water until they arrive. If your delivery arrives later in the day, it is perfectly fine to wait and start your cleanse the next day. Just make sure you refrigerate your juices as soon as possible and keep them unopened until you are ready to drink them. We are unable to issue refunds due to a UPS delay.

Delivery Costs

For local (Chicagoland) deliveries via a JuiceRx driver, the cost is as follows:
FREE delivery for ALL orders over $199.  Under $199, it’s a flat $15 delivery fee.

ALL deliveries outside of Chicagoland are shipped via UPS NEXT-DAY Air (or Ground, if within a limited radius that ensures delivery the next day) with cold-packs in an insulated liner.  This ensures you receive your juice just after it’s been bottled.  NO compromises.  JuiceRx does not freeze our juice like other companies, nor do we pasteurize or HPP our juice to preserve it.  JuiceRx juice is as fresh as  you’d make at home (with just a slightly more effective juice press).  The prices are as follows:
